Debating Club

Miss Marshall runs Debate club every Thursday lunchtime for our year 5 and 6 children. We are working hard to improve our presentation skills, increase our vocabulary and persuade the opposing team! We have been fiercely debating “Books are better than TV” and “All ten year olds should have a mobile phone”. Our year 5 and 6 debaters are really enjoying the challenge and we have already seen a difference in our pace, tone and eye contact! Hopefully, we will be able to debate against other schools in our local area throughout the summer term.
