About Us

We have a wonderful free flow unit with access to both indoor and outdoor provision. Our teachers are Miss Marshall and Miss Bailey. Miss Marshall is Assistant Head, Early Years Lead and RE Lead. Miss Bailey is our phonics lead and health and wellbeing lead. We are lucky to also have Mrs S Akhtar, Miss H Akhtar and Mrs Patel to help us.

News and Events

The children have all settled into Reception brilliantly, we have been making new friends and getting to know each other.

We would like to take this opportunity to say a big ‘thank you’ for all your co-operation in your child’s first few weeks at school.

This half term we will be learning the classroom routines and we will be noticing the seasonal changes of Autumn.

We will be looking at stories linked to Autumn, such as ‘The Gruffalo’, ‘Bog Baby’ and repetitive poems. As part of our phonics lessons we will be learning new sounds and CVC words. We will be sending reading books and diaries home every Friday. Your child will also get a phonics book to help them practice their new sounds and the formation of letters.

In Maths we are representing numbers to 5. We are also exploring shapes and comparing size.
