Remembrance Day
On Friday, 8th November, Year 5 attended the Remembrance Day Memorial Service at Heaton cemetery as the school’s representatives. During the service, we remembered the brave soldiers who fought for the country, through prayers, poems and singing
Y5 Trip to Bolton Abbey
As part of our Topic ‘Our UK Adventure’, Year 5 went to visit Bolton Abbey. The children really enjoyed this trip as they got to see and explore some magnificent views. We learnt about the history of Bolton Abbey and then went on to doing observational drawings of the Priory Church ruins.
Y5 Lantern Workshop
Y5 got to take part in the Lantern making Workshop. We had a lovely time making the lanterns for the Lister Parade, which will be taking place on Friday, 1st November 2024.
